The Green Week launch and the ‘Walk for Life on Earth’

The launch event is in the Broad Meadow area in Broad St. Oxford on Sat. September 18th at 1.45  – 4.30pm. Anneliese Dodds MPs  will launch the week along other inspiring speakers. There’s some music from great local acts and the Orchestra for the Earth; there’s local food ‘Cook Up Challenge, and at 3pm WhatNot Theatre will entertain children and adults with ‘Voyage To The Trash Vortex’ – a saga of pirates and plastic!  A final programme will be on the website.

At 12.30 we are organising the ‘Walk for Life on Earth’ – a family-friendly walk and procession from Oxford train station via Bonn Square and the city centre to the launch at Broad St.  The Walk will be led by some colourful endangered species (puppets and costumes) – please join us!  Everyone is welcome. Bring a colourful banner.

Please join us on the 18th!
